By accessing or using μcor ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
μcor Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Service
μcor provides a browser-based modular synthesizer platform that enables users to:
- Create, edit, and save audio workspaces and patches
- Access a library of audio modules and instruments
- Develop custom modules using our SDK
- Collaborate with other users in real-time
- Export audio recordings and project files
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to access certain features. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3.2 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental consent.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason at our discretion.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

5.2 Premium Subscriptions
- Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
- Cancellation: You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Refunds: Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
- Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
5.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (Stripe). By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
The Service, including all software, design, graphics, text, and modules created by μcor, are owned by μcor Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create (workspaces, patches, custom modules, audio recordings). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your content to provide the Service
- Display publicly shared content to other users
- Use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and improvements
6.3 User-Generated Modules
Modules you develop using our SDK remain your property. If you publish modules to our marketplace, you grant us the right to distribute them according to marketplace terms.
6.4 Trademark
"μcor" and the μcor logo are trademarks of μcor Inc. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
7. User Content and Conduct
7.1 Content Standards
You are responsible for all content you create, upload, or share. Content must not:
- Violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Contain illegal, harmful, or offensive material
- Include personal information of others without consent
- Contain malware or malicious code
7.2 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without notice.
7.3 Copyright Infringement

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability may change without notice.
11. Beta Features and Experimental Modules
We may offer beta features or experimental modules marked as such. These features:
- May be unstable or incomplete
- Are provided without warranty
- May be modified or discontinued at any time
- Should not be used for production or critical work
12. Service Availability and Downtime
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
We are not liable for damages resulting from service unavailability due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Network or server failures
- Force majeure events
- Third-party service disruptions
13. Export Compliance
The Service may be subject to U.S. export control laws. You agree not to export or re-export the Service to prohibited countries or entities.
14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

- We may delete your data after a 30-day grace period
- You may request data export before deletion
- Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law

- Update to the "Last Updated" date
Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Service.
